phone and internet with additional telecommunications and mass media assets.
Rogers used Tekelec’s Diameter Signaling Router to launch LTE Roaming with
Roaming vendors. They used DSR Mediation and Topology Hiding features to hide
core networks with roaming vendors and partners. Responsibilities are as follows:- · Worked with
installing DSR in lab and integrate with production Ericsson MME and HSS. · Test attach and call-flow in lab with Ericsson MME and
HSS. · Perform complete end-to-end testing, Mediation and Topolgy
Hiding with Diameter Agent. · Install DSR in production environment. Mobily Audio/Video conferencing solution
deployment (2010 – 2011) Description: - Mobily is the
fastest growing mobile communications and technology provider in the Kingdom
of Saudi Arabia. Movius provided integrated video conferencing solution for
wireless and enterprise users. A wireless 3G user, video hardphone
user, video capable softphone user and IE based web user can all join in one
meeting. Huawei video gateways were used for wireless and video hardphone
users. Collaboration features were also offered and so collaboration
supplication servers were also installed. IN Billing was done using Diameter
protocol and SMS and SMTP was used for all notifications. Responsibilities are as follows:- · Provide integration documentation, call-flow

SSO (June 2011 – September 2011) Description: - Headquartered
in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Saudi Telecom Company (STC) is the largest
telecommunications company by market capitalization, total revenue and number
of employees in the Arab State region. On hosted solution platform STC was
looking at Movius to Integrate with NSN HiQ for managed services visa SSO
(Single Sign On). HiQ was using Movius API’s to gain access via SSO and
customize Movius end user interface. Both Unified Messaging and Conferencing
solutions were integrated with HiQ along with Collaboration and content rich
features. Responsibilities are as follows:- · Articulate integration plan. · Coordinate with STC engineering in installing and get
acquitted with Movius SDK and API calls. · Upgrade systems to latest version of software. · Integrate with HiQ SSO portal over HTTPS. ComHem complete hardware and software
upgrade along with relocation (August 2009 – May 2010) Description: - About 40
percent of Swedish households are connected to Com Hem's network and have
access to the widest range of TV, HDTV and On Demand services. Com Hem also
provides affordable and quality services for high-speed broadband and
telephony. To cope with expanding telephony business needs ComHem had to
expand existing voicemail and Unified messaging platform. They planned to
move all telephony systems to a secure location. As per required they wanted
to upgrade hardware, upgrade software, change IP addressing plan, relocate
servers to new secured data centre. Responsibilities are as follows:- · Document technical aspects of overall project with each
step defining maintenance hours and service outage hours. · Install new hardware afresh and install application in
upgrade mode. · Renumber IP addressing based on new IP plan. · Perform complete testing on new cluster. · Decommission old equipment and close project. CBeyond disaster recovery model (Jan 2007
– October 2007) Description: - In USA CBeyond
is one of the biggest hosted solution companies for Unified Messaging in
enterprise market. They planned their entire network in disaster recovery
model with two core networks in Atlanta & Dallas. Application servers
were configured to talk to two networks using CCPU uplink. MS was configured
using card level redundancy. NetApps were made redundant using VLAN tagging. Responsibilities are as follows:- · Write the complete procedures for each of the activity. · Re-install all application servers as in IPU there is no
easy way to relocate servers. · Add player node to cluster. · Install uplink on all application servers. · Configure MS SCC cards on two different networks. · Configure VLAN tagging on NetApps KPN custom TUI (Feb 2005 – March 2007) Description: - KPN (Royal
Dutch Telecom) demanded for change in legacy TUI implementation. I was
responsible for the project from early stage from support. KPN has requesting
huge change in customization of complete TUI menu structure and call flow. Responsibilities are as follows:- · Get customer requirements and design TUI menu structure. · Take requirements to engineering by following internal
professional services channel. · Get release dates from engineering and communicate to
customer. · Request for allocation of service slots to get the new
version of custom patch installed on lab. · Test the new patch and get the new defects. This process
continued for long time back and forth. · Finally getting all issues resolved and customer signoff. KPN subscriber migration (July 2006 – May
2007) Description: - While customer
base at KPN was increasing very fast, managing 500K subscriber in two sites
was becoming difficult in terms of load for both Unified Messaging
application and HiQ. To over come this, another site was proposed at
Amsterdam and 150K of original Amsterdam site was planned to migrate to new
site in Amsterdam. As Siemens moves DN in HiQ, UM subscriber migration also
has to happen at same time. Challenges in hand were to minimize the downtime
and at the same time all 150K has to be migrated along with their settings,
messages and address books. Responsibilities are as follows:- · New migration tools was developed for this type of
migration where working subscribers can be migrated from one system to
another system with all settings, messages and address books intact. · Get the 500k subs data from customer and test newly
developed tool in lab and note timing of each step. · Submit tool with expected timelines from local lab. · Then for full proof convince customer also to test the
tool in customer lab. · Final migration in one night. Casema MS geo redundancy model (April 2007
– Dec 2008) Description: - Casema has
requested for a plan on Unified Messaging application in which they need
Media Server in geographical redundant and load sharing mode. To make this
functioned we recommended migration of NAS (Network Attached Storage) from
Procom to NetApp. With 4 nodes cluster of application servers at Den Haag and
one MS and NetApp in Den Haag and another MS along with another NetApp in
DeMeern was installed. Both NetApp was configured for snap mirroring. At a
time one NetApp is active and other one in snap mirrored and standby mode. Responsibilities are as follows:- · Configure and deploy new NetApp in Den Haag. · Migrate NAS from Procom to NetApp was the first step. · Get the right IP plan for new MS and NetApp in DeMeern and
check latency, because the MS at DeMeern was also talking to NetApp at Den
Haag. · Install and configure new MS and NetApp in DeMeern · Configure 4 node application clusters to talk to both MS. · Configure snap mirroring for both NetApp of Den Haag and
DeMeern. · Test failover for proof of concept and get customer
signoff. IMAP integration with external mail server
at ComHem (March 2006 – May 2006) Description: - IMAP
integration with customer mail server at ComHem was completely under my
supervision. ComHem cable operator in Sweden has Unified Messaging solution
from IP Unity and as package they also provide free mail ID to each
subscriber from another mail server. Later they bought IMAP integration from
IP Unity and the plan was to add profile from IP Unity mail server to
external mail server and the communication will happen over IMAP. Each
subscriber of ComHem will get one email ID and that will contain two profiles
one will be regular mail profile and another will be voice mail profile. Responsibilities are as follows:- · Develop a plan with diagrams of data flow and procedural
documentation. · Work with co-location firewall management to open
appropriate ports. · Provide bulk provisioning awk tool to enable IMAP for
existing mailbox. · Provide custom API provisioning samples for new
subscribers. · Work with external mail server administrator to add voice
mail profiles. Transit Route for Middle East (Assisted in
this Project July 2004 – Sept 2004) Description: - Transit route
connecting from customer premises (NYC) to last mile (Middle East) was
executed under my supervision, designed to terminate transit traffic for
complete Middle East. 2 E1 IPLC (Flag) on HDLC technology were used for IP.
Signaling design was ISDN--H.323—SS7. 16 E1’s was incorporated and was
successfully deployed. Responsibilities are as follows:- · To coordinate with service providers (FLAG) and Telecom
company. · To coordinate with complete Team of technicians involved
in execution. · Designing of project in diagram form and in process of
escalation with responsibilities keeping in mind the outcome of technical
